Terms of Use

LAST UPDATED JULY 2026

Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using CommitU, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app. These terms are between you and Lavoro Group LLC, the maker of CommitU.

The service

CommitU is a meal check-in and accountability tool. It schedules alarms for your planned meals, asks you to confirm each one with a photo, and tracks your history honestly — including the times you go off plan or miss a check-in entirely. It's a personal accountability tool, not a guarantee of any particular outcome.

Not medical or nutritional advice

Please read this one CommitU is not a medical device, and nothing in the app is medical, nutritional, or psychological advice.

CommitU is designed to help with intentional eating habits, not to diagnose, treat, or manage any medical or mental health condition, including eating disorders. If you have a complicated relationship with food, or any condition that eating habits could affect, please talk to a doctor or a qualified professional before using an app like this one — and stop using it if it isn't helping.

Subscriptions & billing

CommitU offers auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly and annual) billed through your Apple ID account. Where a free trial is offered, your subscription begins immediately at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.

Cancelling

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or from Settings inside the CommitU app, which links directly to Apple's subscription management. Cancelling stops future billing; it doesn't refund the current period, which follows Apple's own refund policies.

Your responsibilities

Use CommitU honestly and for its intended purpose. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or interfere with the app's alarm or check-in system, and don't use it in any way that violates applicable law.

Termination

You can stop using CommitU and delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account & Data. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

CommitU is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular alarm will fire under every device condition (for example, if notifications are disabled at the system level, or the device is powered off). To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lavoro Group LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use CommitU after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Lavoro Group LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
